Nope the "OS" is new and the kernel too.

Yeah it's 10x better.

Although Navigation still consists of ploughing through hundreds of menus.

Hard drive installs work great.

In-game dash is much better.

oh :yes: I've installed oblivion and it rocks!! no more hiccups :)

Did they update the boot logo?

Only reason I ask, is that intro video that first plays kinda starts off like the xbox boot logo but looks "LOADS BETTER"

The boot logo hasn't been updated. what you have seen is just the intro video.

Now if the mods please i may even paste a link to the Dash update over here.

Anyways its 12:55 am over here & im gonna go off to sleep now. so whatever i have to do, ill do in the morning. Its been an exciting day for me today , i hope it is the same for you too.

I have a question regarding the loading from hard drive.

If I install say, COD4 MW, onto my hard drive, and a week later I want to play the game again, the disc already inside of my machine, I load up my console, is it going to load right from my hard drive, or play from the disc?

I would think it would give me the option when I load the game.

It will load the game from the HD by default.

a.) If you directly press A on the game menu to play , it will play through the HD as it is the obvious choice.

b.) If you press Y & go into options , you will only have the option to play it from the HD.

In other words if a game is installed to the Hd it can only be played through the HD

if i dont make any sense please pardon me , im too frickin sleepy after eating all that biryani zzzzzzzzz..................!!!! plus now its 1:08 am zzzzzzzzzzzzz
