Spotify - Amazing Legal music App

I came across www.spotify.com a few days ago, and I must say it's amazing! Been using it ever since, and haven't had a need to open itunes at all. Has pretty much every song I search for, and plays instantly with no buffering or problems etc, for a beta its very good. Anyway, it was invite only but today it's gone public so anyone and everyone can sign up. Give it a go, see what you think, i think it's a new revolution in how we will listen to music in the future.

Spotify is excellent! Starting streaming tunes is as instant as if I was listening to them off my own computer, and the OSX client at least is lovely and minimalistic / uncluttered. Good selection of music too. It's almost perfect... now if only I could save the albums onto my iPod!

Just tried spotify and there are too many artists I listen to, AC/DC for one, that are not on it, unlike the excellent Grooveshark. All the hype and in my opinion not worth it.

Although it does have potential and could lead to bigger and better things. Good effort though.

Afaik AC/DC are not listed because they chose to opt out. Not sure if its anything more than that. The Beatles are not listed either.

Spotify suck, they're removing a crap load of tracks.

Tiesto, Celldweller, Sensation Black all reduced to a couple of tracks. :(

nice app, even have some new Norwegian artists there.

Quality doesn't seem terrible either, though admittedly I've only tested it through the laptop speakers yet though, and they suck royally :p

I don't believe it is but you can still use it if you can register in the UK. All you need to do is find a UK proxy. www.daveproxy.co.uk used to work but I think Spotify blocks it now.
