Spotify - Amazing Legal music App

I came across www.spotify.com a few days ago, and I must say it's amazing! Been using it ever since, and haven't had a need to open itunes at all. Has pretty much every song I search for, and plays instantly with no buffering or problems etc, for a beta its very good. Anyway, it was invite only but today it's gone public so anyone and everyone can sign up. Give it a go, see what you think, i think it's a new revolution in how we will listen to music in the future.

Spotify is excellent! Starting streaming tunes is as instant as if I was listening to them off my own computer, and the OSX client at least is lovely and minimalistic / uncluttered. Good selection of music too. It's almost perfect... now if only I could save the albums onto my iPod!

Hey this is really cool! Though I wish the interface was a different design, it reminds me too much of iTunes, and I hate everything Apple.

ps: How long do you think before Apple sues them for "Copyright Infringement"! ;-)

Does the app. auto update itself or do you just have to login every now and again to download the installer again in the hope its been updated?

It automatically updates itself. It does the updating process in the green log-in box after you've logged in, if I remember correctly.

And I have the same version as you (latest).

Hmm, don't think i've ever seen that login box. Spotify just opens with me already logged in. However if thats the latest version then all is fine :p Thanks for the reply
