 i agree. also, good to see so many hockey fans on neowin!! nothing in sports can compare to the nhl playoffs

i agree that it should be a sticky...but i would have to say the world series is better...just because i like baseball more...i feel a poll coming on...

I know all the Red Wing 'fans' are thinking that they will just idle over Anaheim. The Ducks, like there counterparts across the 57 freeway Anaheim Angels, get no respect even when they win. I am not saying Anaheim will shock the world and win it all, I think they will push the Red Wings more then any other team this year. Detroit has eliminated the Ducks every year they made the playoffs, they will probably do it again this year, maybe not, but it wont be anything but a seven game series.

But I see Colorado winning it all, besides the Ducks they are the hottest team in hockey and have the Rocket Richard trophy winner. I wait until next year when Teemu Selanne signs with the Ducks again, then we can discuss Lord Stanley in So Cal.

Well being that I living in MN, and this is the first time the Wild have gone to the playoffs, I have to root for them. But I'm a big fan of the Leafs and Avalanche too.

Well, I hope Dallas and other western teams are wary of Colorado. They've got Marchment lurking about. His best asset for a team is to take out opposing scorers.

To quote what Brendan Shanahan said in 1997...

"And when someone mentions 55 you can tell them to stick 55 right up their ass because we are #1! We are SO much better than the rest of those guys, we deserve to win and we will win."

;)

I couldn't but notice the 42 year gap between the 55 and 97 Cup win for Detriot  :D

or the 1967 Last Cup Win By Toronto... hmmm... 35(36) and counting....

When are Leaf Fans gonna learn....

It is not " Go Leafs Go" but "Blow Leafs Blow"

Let's Go DEVILS !

Hopefully, we'll see Toronto in the Second round, always fun to dispose of them there are on our way to

the conference finals (remember 2000 and 2001) well, here it comes again !

It's such a shame that Shanahan has turned into the typical Red Wing. See what happens when players leave St. Louis? Wow, I am sure glad Keenan cleaned house for us and got rid of him (Keenan is an idiot!). Come to think of it, I think we let a few other okay players go.....

Hull

Cujo

Oates

Gilmour

Turgeon

Young

Man.....we suck!

He should be able to. I don't know if you've heard, but once his name was mispelled on a jersey he wore when he played w/ NYR.

By the by, lots of NYR fans want Keenan back.

Granted, St. Louis also had another legandary player, can YOU name him? ;)

Could that name be Wayne Gretzky? :woot:

Anyway, first round, Wings in 4. Break out the brooms!
