JonathanMarston
Probably Thief: The Dark Project. It was such a revolutionary game when it came out. I agree - I played the demos for Thief for hours and hours before buying the full game. There's still no game that matches it in immersiveness (not even T2, and definately not T:DS). Even though by today's standards the graphics are pathetic, something about the controls, perspective, sound, AI and level design (I love the way that 90% of the story happened in-game from books and notes left around) made it feel like you were there... thomasfrank09
This is really hard. Probably Rogue Galaxy for the PS2. But I really like DDR and Guitar Hero 3. And then there's N+ and Geometry Wars 2. And WoW and EVE are really fun to play with friends.
M_Lyons10
Wow. This is a REALLY hard question... I don't think I can narrow it down to just one... Maybe Panzer Dragoon Saga? Skies of Arcadia? One of the Tomb Raiders? Wow... I'm just going to leave it at that for now... That is a REALLY hard question to answer... This looks like an interesting discussion though. Andre S. Veteran Posted November 4, 2009 Veteran Share Posted November 4, 2009 The best game ever: Baldur's Gate 2. Icewind Dale would be somewhat close (better music, story kinda generic though). Most played: probably TF2 at this point, but 2 years ago it would have been Diablo 2.

Shadrack
It is 1 game of all time guys. If you can't choose between 2 I understand that but some of you are posting 3+ games. Sadly, my favorite game of all time would have to be world of warcraft just because of shere play time. But if I excluded wow it would probably be Quake 1.
