problem is it lasted more than a day, it was released before april fools (probably because of the diverse group of ppl located around the world), would be nice if it was time zone specific to truly mess with people

It was released about 22 hours ago, which is less than a day, and by that time it was well into April 1st for our visitors from Australia / New Zealand etc.

I'm really amazed at how people take things way too seriously. It was an April Fools joke, not a permanent change. Not Neowins fault some of you have no sense of humour. Maybe next year Neowin should ban all the users who complained about this years April Fools. ;)

Yes, that would be the definition of April Fool's day. It's not like the date is a secret beforehand.
