The whole "It's not april 1st where I live" is hilarious, you do know the world is round and extends beyond your borders, right guys?

Good job devs haha. Perfect trick.

Now all I have to say is, WHATS the CODE? lol.

It must be some interesting code only flipping over images.

ImageMagick

If this is an April Fool joke it's not funny. April Fool jokes are supposed to make you enjoy the day, not inconvenience you. Perhaps I should stop visiting this site for a day hmm? Think of other ways to joke people without inconveniencing the visiters.

What if people have legitimate problems with PC and need to post images.

But last I checked Neowin was hosted in the US. But I get your point.

Nup. Netherlands from what I last heard. US is not the only country to have internet and anyone can visit any site from any where in the world.

I saw your profile, your 44 year old and don't know about timezones? We are ahead of you by a day.

Then they can look upside down surely?

Geez not everything is life and death and you realise you can have a laugh in day to day life!

ok its gone past midday is Aussie land now, can we have things back to normal please

It's hard to take after a while isn't it? It's 11:30pm in New Zealand so thank goodness it's almost over. At least it will be when we Aussies/Kiwis wake up. The western hemisphere has a bit to go yet!

I hear ya! But I'm getting tired and cranky because it's getting late.

An example. This morning one radio station was reporting as part of the news that there was an oil spill in the city reach of a major river. One good samaritan called up and said he'd got all his crew (about 15 men) to cancel their appointment because they were on their way to help with the clean-up. Basically, he got screwed because it was a poor April fools joke. No apologies from the station, and this guy would have been thousands out of pocket.

come on guys get things back to bloody normal is more annoying now, jokes over

You've done nothing but whine since it started, go elsewhere if you dont like it. Either that or stop staring at avatars I dont see what the problem is. Just close your browser and go do something productive instead of whining all the time. Notice how your the only one making a huge fuss over it.

    • But they will be the first asking for a bail out the moment crap goes sideways. Its just a matter of time with this AI thing unless skynet gets us first.
    • I'm so conflicted with the Google Search AI summaries. On one hand I don't like how it's harming smaller websites by greatly reducing traffic which will harm us all in the long run but on the other hand those AI summaries often give me the information I'm after. I have never once clicked on 'show me more' though and never will.
    • Not a single company as small or large it may be is obligated to subsidize its products and sell them at a loss. Your way of thinking is socialist and as a West German with a German brother state but impoverished by state dictatorship and a socialist command economy situated to the East i can tell you - this kind of thinking very quickly leads to products not being produced anymore at all. EDIT: That does not mean that I find state support for social needs unreasonable. Quite the contrary. Together with solid workers' rights we exactly had exactly that in Germany for decades in the form of the Sozialstaat which was as the scandinavian social democratic very successful - until the number of people who drew from those resources dramatically increased (ironically a project of social democrat and green proponents).
