Nucleus translates back to 'Kernel' FYI, probably the translator didn't pick that up.

Thanks. Yea, I noticed something was odd about it. That's why there is a ? next to it.

If it's real and it's a milestone build then the jump makes sense. And since they did such a big one of sorts maybe it does tie into the news of some big announcements everyones talking about.

But is it real that is the question, so this would be RC-Escrow right?

Finally! The old nucleus was so buggy. Glad they sorted it out. :pinch:

Necleus would be a bad translation for kernel.

Already pointed that out :p

If there is a kernel change though, that will be the reason for a build number jump.

it's fake they don't build jump till end of RC(2)/pre-rtm testing. and it's unlikely they've compiled 30 odd builds in 4 days

Nothing more than a gut feeling on my part. It's real.

Could I just take a moment and say WHO CARES?

So what they could make build 890!3 for all I care. What matters is when whatever comes out or leaks we get our hands on it.

Until I see some verification I don't believe it !

Why jump so much through the build numbers, they (MS) usually do that after the Release candidate NOT before !!

With that piece of info in mind ....this is a fake !!

Ha, It's funny how people automatically say its fake when they have no logical reason on why it's fake. Just wait until it gets leaked in a couple days. Don't PM me. :)

There have been supposed builds that went as far as doing mockups of them, this has nothing to back it up.

Besides like I said before why would ms skip builds, we are not even up to the RC yet !

People are too hungry for news of the NEXT build is all this works out to be !

WAIT FOR THE RC, anything else is not worth worrying about or speculating about.

Neowin said 10th of April .... wait until then !

It is too early now.

Loving the "yep, definately fake" comments. Making me chuckle. How long has it been since build 7000 was released to the public? It's a very crude theory, but the changes they have made in thast time would maybe equate to a build a day, so maybe build 7105 is more realisitc than everyone thinks. Plus I think they'll want to hit a nice round number for the RC or RTM (7200 for the RTM perhaps).

Religion and Windows 7 on a single thread.

What else could anyone ask for. :argh:

A hole in the head, just don't put it ont he gay side!

There's another one to add to Windows and religion, Family Guy.

They jump builds all of the time and yes it's real.
