Fairly generous demo!

I love inFamous :D

Starts off slow, but daaaamn lightning storm :|

I'm easily playing this bad first time as well, that grenade you get that splits into multiple grenades wipes out everything.

I actually died quite a few times in the demo, bit harder in places than I thought but it does have a good 10 min learning curve to get used to the controls/buttons. I missed that pushing R3 shows you where you can zap electricity from for a bit.

ps. There is blast chards in the demo, I've found 2 so far.

Did you have to sign up for the demo code or is it just random??

They're being sent out randomly I believe.

I dunno if it's just SCEE though :/ Well it's confirmed Sony Australia are doing it as well.

Ahh, was not really paying attention and did not catch the SCEE part, just automatically read it as SCEA.

Oh well, hopefully they do send them out over here. I pretty much always get those emails one way or another, wether through Qore or being a really old school Underground member, so will keep my fingers crossed...

I did not appear to get an email. :( Did I have to sign up for something special apart from having a regular PSN account? Is anyone up for sharing the demo please?

It's probably sent out to people use use their PS3s fairly frequently meaning it's no surprise only one or two people on Neowin got one :p

Nah, I think it's just random PSN accounts, you didn't need to sign up for anything.

Just keep hoping someone else pre-orders and gets a code, there's still 7 days to wait for public demo :(

Damn, so people who got the email cant share it with 5 other people. :( I have the game on pre order but would really like to try it now although maybe its a good thing I did not get an email as I have my last exam on Saturday! I have read reports of people getting more that one email from PSN but I dont know if that is true.

No they can, the email is just a generic code!

Well, exactly as I feared - Game isn't really that exciting. Look wise it's definitely miles ahead of Crackdown but in all other areas, it's a step down the fun ladder. The first 10 minutes, playing with electricity, shooting some lightning and throwing a few 'electricity bombs' is decent fun. Also, shockwaving cars around provides a few giggles but from there, it goes down hill.

You can only shoot so many lightning bolts before you go "meh", and the means of moving about also get repetitive very fast. I just keep wanting to enter a car and drive off, that would be so brilliant or use some projectile based weapons in combination with the electricity, then it would kill Crackdown but without those two elements the game doesn't offer much. Another game with a ton of potential that didn't hit my soft spot, too bad :(

My first 15 minutes were spent compairing it to Crackdown as well, but I kept playing, just started wandering about and then I got more into it. It's not "new" but it is very polished and pretty enjoyable if you give it some time. I didn't find the whole train section to be all that great. You should really give it another chance, I recall you not liking KZ2 much until you came back to it again recently?

After some extensive patching, yeah - I did like Killzone 2 back then ( Not the SP ... ), few issues just kept me from truly enjoying it.

This game just feels stale already and I might give the demo another whirl in a few weeks but right now, I can't be bothered :/

Also easy to get games early by working at a retail store.

In case you are on friendly terms with the manager, take a game home without buying it at the register, then you take a copy off the shelve at launch day, run it through the cash register, pay and put it back on the shelf.

Those were good times :(

All Platforms Added cleaners for Claude Code, DNS cache, and many Visual Studio Code forks. Added support for multiple Chrome and Edge profiles. Chrome can now clean downloaded AI models. • DriversCloud 12.1.6 by Razvan Serea With DriversCloud (formerly My-Config.com), you can explore your computer easily, safely and free. The application quickly scans your PC and identifies the hardware and software components. DriversCloud then establishes a list of the different drivers compatible with your OS and hardware. Download the drivers needed for the proper functioning of your computer. To detect your drivers, DriversCloud also displays a detailed summary of your hardware and software configuration, analyzes your BSOD, monitors in real-time your PC voltages and temperatures and lets you share your configuration online. Once the hardware components have been detected, you will be able to obtain with just a few clicks the latest drivers corresponding to the identified hardware. You can record your configuration on the site for free, and can get the corresponding URL to post the configuration to technical forums, e-mail and social networks. You can also download the detection result (the configuration) as a PDF file. To protect the user's privacy and data confidentiality, a 4-level confidentiality system was created that filters the XML marks and gives control to the user. The default level can be modified in the preferences. Using the maximum level will prevent the user from publishing his configuration and generating a corresponding PDF file. In non-connected mode, each XML configuration is stored on the server for one day (for practical reasons). However, you are given the opportunity to manually delete it. Created in 2004, and continually improved, My-Config.com has established itself on the web as a free service to PC users running Windows and Linux operating systems. The service is designed to work with the most common Internet browsers (Edge, Firefox, Chrome, Safari).
