runs like a dream on my rig :D isn't too shabby on my laptop either. the only problem i'm having is getting my modded usb xbox controller to work properly with it. all controls are fine except i can't get the looking to invert. hey dazzla, when using the ps2 controller...you're using the right stick to look right? is it inverted so pressing down looks up? i tried looking through the config files to try and modify it, but no luck there...

FatCat turn off frame limiter in the options. Then lower draw distance a bit.

no, gta3 for pc was the port for gta3, this is the new and improved port for gtavc

My right analogue stick is weird, like pressing left makes it look up etc, it's all wrong. I haven't calibrated it in the control panel yet though so I'll see there.

I haven't had a whole lot of luck with my Xbox controller either, I can't get the right stick to do anything. It would be nice if I could look left, right, up and down with it...

As it is now I either have to use the PS2 style controls or use my mouse and keyboard when on foot...

I don't know what the deal with this game is.....I have a P4 2.4 ghz, 512 RAM, Geforce 4200on a WinXP system. I have gone all the way down to 800X600X16bit with no AA, and it still runs like SHIZ.....any ideas?

With the default controls, just press 6 or 9 on the number key pad. One pulls up on the bike, the other shifts the weight to the front of the bike.

As it is now I either have to use the PS2 style controls or use my mouse and keyboard when on foot...

just go into the game controller properties in the control panel, and switch the assignment of the d-pad with the right tumbstick. i'm assuming you're using the xctrl drivers right?

Turn off frame limiter in display options. It locks it at 30 fps.

my copy runs like crap. I keep gettin weird graphic problems and I'm usin the latest detonator drivers on a geforcefx 5200.

i'm guessing since its a dx9 game, make sure you have xp sp1 installed, dx9, and i'm using the latest dx9 compatible drivers off the nvidia website.. 43.45

this game should fly on your PC

Thanks for the heads up, I didn't know you could just switch them like that, works perfectly now.

Mine is already inverted, I don't prefer it that way but I'd just rather play instead of trying to figure out how to change it....

Ok so I got to the mission where you have to steal the panzer, however it seems quite difficult, should I cheat or does anyone have a good plan to steal the panzer ?

I know sometimes after trying a few times you realize you can just run someone over, or get right into something, or run straight through things.

Any tips ?

For the panzer mission, get any vehical and park right infront of tank (not front of convoy). A commander should jump out of the tank to bitch at you, run like hell to the tank, jump in, and get it to the garage before she goes KABOOM :D
