Probably a cool game, but why do people add that "56k warning" crap?

Before I got on broadband, the highest I ever connected at was 48k and that didn't stop me from viewing large pics, in fact I didn't find them to load all that slow at all.

I have a really fast connection now and to be honest, I don't find a whole lot of difference with it compared to 48k on loading pictures and pages.

i found it easiest to drop off the bombs on the top level of the building first and work my way down floor by floor, that way you don't have to go past all the other levels when you are running out of time. Also look at the way the stairs are built, sometimes you can just go straight up skipping a level, rather than following the stairs, if you know what i mean. Those are the only tips that i've got, other than take the thing for a ride around town 1st to get used to flying it :)

funny how we are all stuck here  I just quit right now after my million time, but I'm getting closer to the goal, more closer to a headache though

guys i need your help..i'm at the part where you have to place the bombs into the building with a RC helicopter..

i've tried again and again..its just soo hard..controlling the helicopter...!!! :(

any tips guys??

practice makes perfect.

guyz... im having trouble buying property. ive done a good bit of missions, most recent person i got is Diaz and the pay phone guy. every time i go over a lil house icon to buy... it says i cant buy now.... come back later. whats this mean? ive got 9000 $$ helpo please

Damn! Looks like I'll have to upgrade my vid card some time soon and ditch the Gamecube which I barely play afterall.

For those with "slower" systems - it looks like the GF MX and Radeon 9000 are bare minimum. I'll prob get a Ti 4200 or a Radeon 9500.

can someone help me out here:

in VC on the PS2, couldn't you just run over things to pick them up, or did you have to exit your vehicle and then touch them?

in VC on the PC, i can't just run over things, i have to get out and grab them, and i swear it wasn't that way, but i could be wrong....

Hmm.. .you never could run over things to pick them up in a car in any game, besides polices bribes. I haven't played the PS2 version all that much, so I'm not sure. It is that way in GTA3 though.

It's probably because you need more cash... like 10k or so? I'm not sure...

    • (macOS) Screen zoom was broken for me in beta 1 and it's now working properly in beta 2. In terms of performance and UI design/consistency, these betas are already much better than Tahoe.
    • Less powerful than a PS5 at twice the price! I wonder if they use that for marketing? Totally DoA.
