lol yea, they've got a special box for pre-order. You pay 10 dollars down. You get a "special" cd of music from the game... I figure since I'm gonna get the game, might as well get a free CD lol.

i read the readme file, it says "vice city will refuse to run if the vga card is less than 32mb" i was so scared, but heya it runs nicely on 640x580 at 32bit

i will play it on my desktop instead with a bad ass high res :D

Damn I was just screwing around with some settings yesterday and it turns out that I can get it to look much better even.

I'm running the game on this pc (still the same):

AMD Athlon 1.2 Ghz

512mb PC133 RAM

40gb 7200rpm HD

Gigabyte Radeon 9000 Pro (275/275)

Abit KT7a motherboard

Well like I mentioned before, I can run the game in a resolution of 1024x768@32bit. Well now it turns out that I can even run it with 3xAA enabled :D, it still runs great but looks so much better!!! Gonna throw some AF on it too, hope it still runs as great as without.

This is such an amazing game, really great, tons of fun!!! Best things are those vespa scooters :D, those are just great. Or the beachbuggys, man those are nice too.

Probably a cool game, but why do people add that "56k warning" crap?

Before I got on broadband, the highest I ever connected at was 48k and that didn't stop me from viewing large pics, in fact I didn't find them to load all that slow at all.

I have a really fast connection now and to be honest, I don't find a whole lot of difference with it compared to 48k on loading pictures and pages.

then you are real lucky...when the 56ks wait for it to load...they just make this face >_< and go goddamn it.....

And how do I run it with AA 4X on with my Radeon card?

Im on stuck on the mission where you have to control a mini helicopter and drop 4 bombs on a building site in 7mins. Its so hard to direct the helicopter aaah anyone got any tips on this bit?

OK go and kill all baddies with the blades then get the 1st bomb drop from the bottom up, because then you only have to do the long journey once to the top. use the turning keys alot num-4 num-5 i think. :D :D :D
