I bailed the show during midway of season 2 when the writers started to turn every episode into a mini season finale. I just want it to be predictable and procedural with few lighthearted moments. I don't really care the "big picture" or anything that it's mere existence is to set up for the season finale.

Wow I didn't know Kate Mulgrew was a Captain of the Enterprise! Awesome! Must have been after Picard and before...wait

Kate Mulgrew DID NOT command the Enterprise. She commanded The USS Voyager, N.C.C. 74656, Intrepid class starship... she played "Katherine Janeway".

I find it funny they used the name "Jane" for her name on W13.

BTW ... she's put on a lot of weight since Star Trek!

I know she didn't command the Enterprise, and that she was Katherine Janeway on Voyager, my comment was sarcastic after all :p

Also, she's on NTSF:SD:SUV:: and she's awesome on that one also. Who woulda figured she'd be terrific in a spoof of procedural crime drama shows, playing an eye patch wearing bad ass police type chick!

Predictable shows are boring and thats why I like this show more than Eureka.

Don't get me wrong, I love Warehouse 13 and all, but anyone else think its becoming predictable and presenting more and more plot holes?

From the second Steve "turned" evil, I suspected he might have been on the Warehouses side the whole time, mostly because I don't think he could have betrayed Claudia so easily. Plus Arty getting that watch from James' room, we do not know what it does, but combined with what Arty says when looking at it after the explosion, I can only assume it is some time of time reversal artifact that will restore the Warehouse. Not much of a cliffhanger to leave at a season end, unlike the first season (where it appeared Arty was dead....though many people suspected he had the phoenix artifact, I personally was curious who was going to die as a result of him using it), it seems like Arty may be able to simply "reset" the warehouse to before the bomb was even there.

Also, as soon as we saw Steve dead I had a feeling Claudia was going to use whatever artifact kept Marcus alive, and Ms. Frederic didn't seem too displeased that Claudia wanted to keep the artifact to revive Steve....As for Ms. Frederic being dead, I don't suspect she will stay that way, assuming it was an artifact similar to the metronome, as soon as Arty restores the warehouse it should continue working and bring her back to life.

Beyond that, I was pretty disappointed when HG made a shield around the main 3. She was suppose to be really smart and what not, she diverted power from the primary shield to create a small shield of equal power. The shield was powerful enough to protect from the blast and "artifact fallout", why didn't she just put the shield around the bomb and the warehouse wouldn't have even blown up and nobody would have had to die? Did is have an ulterior motive for destroying the warehouse, or did she just not think of it in time? I think it probably had more to do with the writers unable to think of a way to make the season "end with a bang" (pun definitely intended) other than blowing up the warehouse based on all the earlier events in the finale.

I still love WH13, but it seems to be extremely predictable, I will no doubt watch S4 of it, but I don't expect everyone dead and everything destroyed to simply stay dead/destroyed.

It was a very good finish... I can't wait for S4!!! I just wish SyFy would spread out the shows - Not all at one time... i.e. WH13 S4, then Alpha's S2, then Eureka's S5, ... etc.

Anyone notice the QR codes?

Steven Jinks (WH13 Agent NXN43772632-30032). Murdered by Walter Sykes.

There was one for MacPherson too but I couldn't get a good enough angle for a scan :(. As for Mrs Frederick, I assumed that was caused by her link to the Warehouse.

While I do admit some of the stuff was predictable and blah but I still enjoyed seeing it unfold imo. Ending definitely wasn't as climactic as S1 but still enough to keep us hooked for S4. :)

I'm fairly certain that the watch will wind back some amount of time. It is still possible that it could go back far enough where they could prevent Steve's death, but we will have to wait and see. Who will know that time has been rewound? Only Artie? As for Ms. Fredrick, she will likely be back to normal not knowing what happened if the warehouse returns (most likely) as others have mentioned.

The other possibility is they end up starting over with a WH14 and Claudia as Ms F's successor.

    • Zen Browser 1.21b by Razvan Serea Zen Browser is a privacy-focused, open-source web browser built on Mozilla Firefox, offering users a secure and customizable browsing experience. It emphasizes privacy by blocking trackers, ads, and ensuring your data isn't collected. With Zen Mods, users can enhance their browser experience with various customization options, including features like split views and vertical tabs. The browser is designed for efficiency, providing fast browsing speeds and a lightweight interface. Zen Browser prioritizes user control over the browsing experience, offering a minimal yet powerful alternative to traditional web browsers while keeping your online activity private. Zen Browser’s DRM limitation Zen Browser currently lacks support for DRM-protected content, meaning streaming services like Netflix and HBO Max are inaccessible. This is due to the absence of a Widevine license, which requires significant costs and is financially unfeasible for the developer. Additionally, applying for this license would require Zen to be part of a larger company, similar to Mozilla or Brave. Therefore, DRM-protected media won't be supported in Zen Browser for the foreseeable future. Zen Browser offers features that improve user experience, privacy, and customization: Privacy-Focused: Blocks trackers and minimizes data collection. Automatic Updates: Keeps the browser updated with security patches. Zen Mods: Customizable themes and layouts. Workspaces: Organize tabs into different workspaces. Compact Mode: Maximizes screen space by minimizing UI elements. Zen Glance: Quick website previews. Split Views: View multiple tabs in the same window. Sidebar: Access bookmarks and tools quickly. • Windows Server gets DNS over HTTPS (DoH) support by Usama Jawad For the past few months, Microsoft has been previewing DNS over HTTPS (DoH) for Windows DNS Server, touting it as a foundational upgrade for zero-trust enterprise networks. It essentially introduces encrypted, authenticated DNS for the networks rather than transmitting DNS traffic in clear. Now, the company has introduced the general availability (GA) of this feature. The GA of DoH encourages organizations to deploy the solution in production environments without implementing a new client-to-resolver architecture. DoH helps improve the overall security of the network and reduces the risk of spoofing due to its zero-trust design. This is a significant change because pretty much every interaction with the network requires interfacing with DNS. DoH offers several advantages over standard DNS traffic, such as encryption using HTTPS, preventing unauthorized inspection, man-in-the-middle attacks, and traffic analysis. Since it leverages TLS certificates so that clients can verify the identity of the DNS server, it prevents spoofing through this authentication mechanism. Additionally, it's built on the DoH standard defined by the Internet Engineering Task Force (IETF), which means that it should work with modern RFC 8484-compliant clients. Finally, it integrates into the existing network architecture seamlessly and can even run in parallel with standard DNS, so that customers can migrate to the new technology at their own pace. Microsoft says that in the past few months of preview, DoH has become more stable, and customers can confidently deploy it in production environments with proper guidance. Microsoft has emphasized that migrating to DoH is necessary for organizations that are moving toward zero-trust DNS solutions. Windows clients already support DoH, but the latest availability on Windows Server provides encrypted DNS to all endpoints. The company has also mentioned that "while this release focuses on encrypting client-to-resolver communication, support for encrypted communication between Windows DNS Server and upstream DNS resolvers is planned for a future update." You can follow Microsoft's guidance to deploy DoH here, but keep in mind that you need a Windows Server 2025 installation with the latest Patch Tuesday updates installed.
