Thanks for the comments guys but compared to you my photos are crap hehe. Love the photos in this thread. I need to keep learning.

I wouldn't be so quick to knock your photos :)

Though, I know what you mean, when looking at others pictures, I always feel like min are lacking, or over processed, or... something.

I've been a fan of yours for a long time. Since, pretty much 2001. The ol' Theme'ing Windows XP days. I don't know if you'll remember me, but I used to go my the name Xcert.

Great, I'll un-purple-ize it a bit, and finish the trees. I'm sure there has to be a better way than layer mask and brush, but I haven't found it yet.

I tend to take my photos about one step to far though. I was about to save, and then I randomly added that dark layer on top .

Before saving I should press ctrl+alt+z a few times.

I do love -Kol's images though, I have a bunch printed in my room.

If you're unfamiliar with photoshop, i would suggest using camera raw for your jpg's. If you go into photoshop preferences, then file handling and check open jpg in camera raw that should work for you. It's alot easier to find things and is very powerful. On the right hand side, near the top you will see buttons for different categories, if you click HSL / Grayscale then click the saturation tab, you can completely remove the purple and add more blue. Of course this can be done in photoshop as well, but i find camera raw has most things you need for photo editing and it's easier to locate. Hope this helps. You don't have to customize your images according to what we think, by all means experiment a bit and have fun! Here is a quick readjustment i made to it.

Thanks for the tip, I was wondering how to get camera raw open.

I do know how to do that much in photoshop though, and I purposely adjusted with the colour balance tool. IMHO the trees in mine look a bit "painted". I added a bit of magenta and red to the picture.

Do you like it with a more realistic colour as opposed to to the tinting I did. I was thinking overall it was good, I just needed to "un-purple" it a smidgen.

This is what the camera actually took (For a colour comparison):

Yeah the pic was good, it's just a matter of personal opinion. I think outdoor shots such as this should stick with a realistic color because especially being that this is a farm type scene, it has alot of really rich colors that can make the photo stand out. But again, just mess around with it and have fun, it doesn't have to look like mine, or what anyone else wants, just mess around and see what you can come up with. The only reason i commented on the original picture was because it seemed like the whole picture was washed out but there was alot of light on the ball of hay, so it didn't look natural at all.

Of course I remember you man. I was a big fan of your themes too. Your themes and arhra's were the best. :D

Quick pic of my dog. Snapped it when she was waking up. Usually she is not this calm. She is always doing something that **** me off LOL. Love her. :D

Lol, nice pic KoL.

My dog acts the same. Miniature Pinscher... She's all over the place, jumping on the sofa and running everywhere. It's almost impossible to have a non-blurry picture of her :)

    • Forza Horizon 6 gets big bug-fixing and balancing update by Taras Buria Today, Playground Games released a big Forza Horizon 6 update with a long list of fixes, patches, and balancing tweaks that the studio promised earlier. Version 375.327 is now available on Steam, Microsoft Store, and Xbox, offering users improvements for AI, audio, design, performance, road discovery, upgrades, visuals, online play, and more. Some of the most notable changes in the Series 2 update include rebalanced drivatars, particularly their difficulty and race start behavior. As such, the game should be more balanced on higher difficulty levels, and AI cars should not shoot out when the race starts as if they have rocket boosters. Speaking of difficulty, developers nerfed Drag Tires physics for a more expected and realistic behavior. They are no longer the go-to option for record-breaking times in road racing, and all leaderboard entries with drag tires will be removed. Completionists will also be glad to get a new feature that lets you see road discovery percentage in each region, which should make discovering all roads easier while keeping it quite challenging and interesting (I spent quite a long time finding the last road). Festival Playlist is also getting some much-needed fixes, including patches for bugs that allowed completing Seasonal Jobs ahead of time or where weekly challenges would not unlock for some players. Developers will retroactively give reward points to all who could not complete all challenges due to these bugs. Other changes include changes to Horizon Play progression so that it is easier to reach Level 100, audio improvements on lower-spec devices, fixes for visual glitches, including pixelated smoke, and more. Developers also addressed the currently non-working Eliminator, an online mode gamers used to farm credits with a Hummer EV exploit. Playground Games plans to re-enable it soon. As a gesture of goodwill, players will get a free McLaren Sabre. Those who used the exploit will not be banned, but developers plan to roll back credits to a maximum of 10M for all who farmed credits using the exploit. You can find the complete changelog for the latest Forza Horizon 6 update here.
