Way back in 2001 I thought about giving each the computes in my house a name. I thought I would name them each after a different john Wayne movie.

Warwagon (from the movie "The Warwagon) was my main machine

Tycoon was my server

and Dakota was my spare machine.

and the rest is history.

Lol that's awesome

well, my current display name is NeoSpam... I figured since i have a spam (the food) obcession, I'd make it spam related......

Originally, it was Ispamforfood.... but i wanted to make it Neowin-esque. :p

I was born in Yugoslavia, and while growing up my family always said "You should be like Tito", "Don't do that, it will dissapoint Tito", etc. During grade 9 I did an essay about him and heard of Titoism and realized that my ideology was very close to it. So as I was making my Neowin name (for the 3rd time) I decided to call my self Titoist.

Titoism

My screen name comes from my work. I'm a Paramedic with the Emergency Response Brigade on a pharmaceutical plant. I'm also a Hazardous Materials Specialist and due to the work we do we respond to every emergency on plant grounds and 2 miles around the plant in a mutual aid arrangement. So we cover everything from a scraped knee to a full Haz-Mat spill to car accidents.

Nothing interesting behind my username really, it's, as many may assume, my first name. :p

Back in my "n00b" days online I used to go around by "maximus" or "maximus_12",with nothing creative being behind that username either; it was my dog's name.

'Kane' comes from a few sources. Kane from CNC; one of my favorite game series', it's the name of a Husky I found a picture of several years back, and I really like the name itself. 'Husky' comes from my love of Siberian Huskies. The whole name also relates to my lifestyle so to say, being that I'm a furry. No, I'm not a "CSI" furry

Game name in CS used to be "7 Shot" which was because I'd love to own people with a deagle (desert eagle) and it has 7 shots before you have to reload. I shortened it to "Se7en" because I thought it looked cool, because of the movie Se7en, and because a korean singer is called "Se7en" (I'm half Korean). Since "Se7en" isn't really that original and most sites already have that name taken I chose Se7enVII or Se7enIIIX instead.

Yggdrasill is the Tree of Life in Norse [and some other] mythology, but it was originally taken on the site I wanted to use it on. A friend suggested adding a Y to the end [for 'silly'], so I did. And it stuck. For the most part, Yggdrasill is taken as a username on most sites anyway.

devHead. Well, years ago, there was this website for developers and particularly web designers and programmers. It was devhead.com. It doesn't exist anymore, but I thought the name was pretty cool. Plus, cause I'm a developer/programmer.

    • The level of stupidity at Google and Microsoft is beyond belief. All they are doing by killing this is forcing people to jump over to Firefox and ditch them all together, therefore giving Firefox the market boost it needs to finally crush them all in the end.
