Take a look at magazine scans from elsewhere (US, Europe etc). The people who scan those don't retouch them as heavily as scans from Japanese magazines. With Japanese magazines, some scanners do scan them properly, but many go overboard with the airbrush so it looks like the girls are shrinkwrapped in plastic. (Y) Oh not at all. I wasn't criticising you. It just bugs me when they airbrush the pictures so much. I collected japanese scans for many years and it always bugged me when they'd overdo the retouching on a photobook. It seems to have become more commonplace in recent years too, sadly.
