I'm being watched.

Just messing around in my room, I once uploaded a picture of my last bedroom onto my Flickr page and it was featured on Unplgged. as they were impressed with my room.

I've moved out of that room and into a new one, which is much bigger. 4 photos taken from each corner of the room.

nice room photos.

an old photo from about 4 months ago I stumbled upon today while cleaning out my library.

Now that I'm more... "experienced" I'm not as satisfied with the lighting as I once was.

New updates on my Flickr. Been about 3 weeks since I did any photography outside of work. Poor showing in December from me I think.

Couple shots me and the wee lad took messing around with off camera flash:

And some shots from a breakdance event held locally on the weekend (read more about my issues in photoing it and give me tips here).

The images have been put through lightroom (as is normal for me) and then textures and frames (kind of) added for a grungy/retro feel. I think it works though I do concede that I may have not stopped soon enough on a couple lol...

Too much with the textures and that?

Dunno why I like this but I do. What is it?

It makes me think of 80's man/machine shows like airwolf/street hawk/knightrider. Don't ask me why that's just what conjures in my mind when i look at it.

Also, crazy88ss. The ant picture is cool. Totally crisp and detailed I even like the layout, though I don't know how orchestrated by you that was (reckon you would've just left the little blighters to it and fire off a couple of frames, see which is best, no?).

Nice macro shot... least I hope its a macro shot... :|

Yes, way too much.

Yes it's a macro shot.

I have some ant bait on my dresser that they've been... "hanging out" at. I thought it'd make a good photo opporunity so I put down a piece of white printer paper to help make them easier to see.

Other than that I just took a bunch of pictures and picked my favorite one. I used my reverse lens adapter on my 50mm f1.8, so everything was 100% manual. It's a big challenge trying to capture moving objects with no autofocus!

It's nothing compared to every other photo in the thread but it was my very first picture taken with my new camera, it's a milestone :p

I call it: Bloody hell Sethos, perhaps it's time to give that cup a wash?

nice! You should get a flickr account Sethos.

    • HONOR Robot Phone unveils first Cinematic Video at Shanghai International Film Festival by Steven Parker Global AI device ecosystem company HONOR announced on June 13 that its revolutionary HONOR Robot Phone made its professional imaging debut at the 28th Shanghai International Film Festival (SIFF), demonstrating the result of its mobile videography capabilities for the first time. As the official mobile photography and videography partner of the 28th Shanghai International Film Festival, HONOR empowers this premier cinematic event with cutting-edge mobile imaging technology. Marking the global debut of the first cinematic video it captured, Robot Phone breaks down the boundaries between mobile imaging and professional filmmaking, ushering in a new paradigm for the deep integration of technology and cinematic art. In the video published on HONOR’s official channel (above), Robot Phone was used byELLEMEN to capture cinematic video portraits for the SIFF jury members. With its exceptional stability and cinema-grade imaging capabilities, the device redefines the art of portrait filmmaking, faithfully reproducing the rich tonal gradations and nuanced color transitions associated with film photography. The result is a new level of visual sophistication, creating high-end cinematic imagery that seamlessly blends atmosphere with narrative tension. The video released for the Robot Phone showcases the powerful stabilization capabilities of its built-in gimbal system, delivering exceptionally smooth handheld camera movement while preserving full image quality. By minimizing reliance on electronic image stabilization, the device effectively avoids the image cropping and quality loss typically associated with digital stabilization methods. Representing an innovative leap in form factor, the HONOR Robot Phone features the industry's smallest titanium alloy gimbal, delivering ultra-precision, extreme flexibility, and superior stability. Driven by high-performance motors, the gimbal rises dynamically, breaking free from the physical limitations of traditional camera modules. Combined with advanced AI algorithms that enable intelligent object tracking and various movements with stable shots, the device significantly simplifies video creation and reshapes both the equipment choices and creative habits of modern users. Notably, the Robot Phone will be the first product that features the results of HONOR's strategic technological partnership with ARRI, the world-renowned designer and manufacturer of professional camera technology for cinematic storytelling. From Cannes to Shanghai, the HONOR Robot Phone continues to lead the mobile imaging industry into an entirely new stage of development. Moving forward, HONOR will leverage cutting-edge AI and mobile imaging technologies to unlock new creative possibilities and extend cinematic standards for visual expression from the world of high-end filmmaking to the next generation of content creators. • I'll wait for the root cause analysis. Looks like it's HP, Lenova, and certain configurations that are askew, hardly "all of windows." Time will tell.
    • Loading Topaz Photo AI freezes my system since this update...
    • I had issues with my NVME, it was running really slow (like 2/3 mb bandwidth) ... had to reverted via System Restore and all is fine now.
