So I found it if I have my AA to 2x or if I have it to 16x, it means the difference of around 4FPS!!

AF is now on 16, it does not matter at all with that, it can be 1x or 16x and no performance hit...

I think this was with like 8x AA

15%... this wait is killing me! I'm trying to play Batman: Arkham Asylum but I find myself constantly minimizing and checking the download speed/percentage. :s

ping not working for anyone else? evertime i join a server my ping is 200+ but when i go to server browse to find a server manually no servers have been pinged.

Run the game as Admin. Fixes pings not showing in server browser.

im done. can't play single player, crashes to desktop. No matter what server i join my ping is 200+ even though when i initially join the server the ping is below 50. I'll try again tonight.

now i'm getting "failed to login to EA Online Server" Error. Eff this...

I can't add 2142 to my Veteran status ... keeps saying my user ID is wrong, when it's not. I just logged into my EA account to confirm. BLAH. Oh well, so far my Veteran Rank is at 3. Dunno what that will give me.

EDIT: OK, to get it working you actually have to install 2142, log in, join a match, exit, then try. I guess because I haven't played it in about 2 years haha.

SP was lackluster..

nowhere near as engaging as MW2

the main drawbacks were BIG BIG BUGS in my eyes.

like every moment where there is a cutscene the enter and exit is odd. its never smooth. The action stops.. and then continues at parts where u have to do something which is scripted.

like the heatshot slomo in MW2 just for an example.. where u have to do a thing it was so fast to understand what to do and how.

here it takes a 2 sec break to understand and then go on.. which breaks the action BAD..

but loved the graphics and all the SMOKE and DUST... still on the graphics front it wasnt much of improvement from other Shooters out there..

it was between MW2 and Crysis..

other then that i remember reading somewhere the SP was 10hours long.. but it ended for me in 6hrs i think..

I don't think the majority of the people are buying it for the Single Player :p.

majority here didnt even talk about SP at all :p

everyones for MP..

damn im too busy for exams :(

btw MP rocks otherwise..

the slow team based taking cover and all and then going rocks.. because reloading time is alot more then MW2 and nades take a while to explode..

This is why I don't understand the reviews of this game. Usually if an outstanding single player campaign is the main focus for the game, the reviewer is easy to forgive a subpar multiplayer.

Since the outsanding multiplayer is the main focus of this game I don't understand why it's not easy to forgive a mediocre single player.

      You can't, if you didn't notice, it doesn't support surround at all, it's right in the spec list.

      Hi — I’m always interested in soundcards. Like displays, I just want to know I’m getting as much clean “sonic juice” into my brain as possible as the years take their toll. I’m not entirely sure what to take away from this review, though. It doesn’t really tell me whether the AE‑X is a good product or who it’s actually for. Most of what I’m getting is: there’s a driver to install, here’s what it looks like, and here’s what’s in the box. There’s a lot of emphasis on the SPDIF input. When you mention not needing to switch headphones between console and PC — does that mean the PC has to be powered on just to pass audio through? That seems like a fairly big waste of energy. Is this more something a streamer would use alongside a capture card? How are you testing the sound? (Also, you might want to clarify that you’re using the headphones in wired mode when you mention they’re wireless.) You mention the lack of EMI shielding — how much real‑world difference does that make compared with typical motherboard audio? On multi‑channel: what exactly isn’t supported? Does this mean Windows spatial audio (Dolby Atmos for Headphones, DTS Headphone:X, etc.) won’t work, or just that the card itself doesn’t decode surround formats? And are there any true multi‑driver “surround” headphones left that would even use that? You also highlight support for high‑impedance headphones — but what does that translate to in practice? How does it compare to driving the same headphones from a normal device, and does it make any difference for everyday, lower‑impedance models? In short, who is this card actually targeted at?
