Definitely MAJOR improvements in the performance on the MP. I am running 1920 x 1080, Medium - High - Medium- Medium 4xAA 8 X AF, and getting a consistent over 55-60 FPS on the MP. I am probably going to turn some stuff down to get even more FPS, for me I would rather have high FPS then have it look all pretty, but way, way better than the Beta ran, at least on my end. In the Beta I could not even run 1920 x 1080

Once you have the VPN software up and running, you connect to a US server and fire up steam - Unlock the game, install the software etc. then while you are still

in the Steam main window, press disconnect on the VPN software and then start the game shortly after. Then it'll still allow you to launch the game yet won't suffer from "VPN Crappy connection syndrome".

You will however have to shut down steam and do the above every time you boot. You will also be able to view your CD-key and Pre-order key like this, so it's usable in the retail version and you

won't have to bother with VPN software ;)

Its working now due to server issues as I said :) Its the first day of release and all the servers (login, update, unlocks, store, game) are all getting hammered. Be patient

I will take some more, I am still playing with settings to get the best FPS and a decent visual quality. But what is weird is the FPS struggles when I am indoors, outdoors it is fine. :wacko: Makes no sense to me.

Just for screens though I may bump everything up just to get some really nice screens, but right now I am obsessed with finding the perfect settings for optimal FPS. I guess that is why my skill level is currently a -3 :rofl:

Well it switched it up on me. I was able to add servers to my favorites list, but now I can't refresh the server list. :rofl:

Where is the store anyways? It's supposed to be in game, but I see no such option.

if anyone else is getting the VC restributable error with the retail copy running an x64 OS (vista or 7) you have to extract the contents of disk to your hard drive somewhere then go to "where it's extracted"/support and then open "localization.ini" in there there is a line that says "installvc8redist=1" change 1 to 0 and you'll be able to install it.

also i love the DRM on this game, you can use the disk or go online to authenticate it and no longer need the disk. LOVE IT!
