That doesn't give you a right to steal their hard work, in fairness.

Then wait for the official release, dont use pirated version then whine when it crashes to desktop because of a bad crack.

eh, I think valve have themselves to blame for not releasing worldwide same day. Same goes for any company that holds software/movies back across the world. I'm not condoning piracy in any way but I think it's down right retarded of a company to moan about piracy when they stagger release dates worldwide for no real reason, considering how easy it is to download content nowadays. It just annoys your customer base. It's even worse considering spoilers and memes spread across the Internet within hours of the first country getting it.

That doesn't make any sense, the release staggering only effected retail copies; Steam release was global.

And if you're in a position to be able to download Portal 2, then you can also download it via Steam.

There is a reason, different regions release games on different days.

Got my PS3 copy this morning. Gonna be home in a few hours, no cookies for guessing what I'll be doing over the weekend! I'm on Steam and PSN if you want to co-op. Singh400 is the name :D Although my PS3 is over wireless so I'll more than likely be on PC/Steam playing it.

Added ya! I'm strelok1911

Completed this today. It was okay. As usual for a valve game it was very polished and it had lots of attention to detail. For me, the gameplay got a bit boring. I think with the new elements it was just enough to call it a sequel. The entire game feels like 1/3 of a full game to me though (not just in length but also in variety, it just got kind of stale).

I get home to link up PSN and Steam and I find PSN is offline for maintenance... wtf? :(
Apparently it could takes two days to fix this. This is according the official blog! I'm not happy
Just bought the PS3 version... I'd be lying if I said that I am not going to just link it up to my Steam account, download it on PC and then trade-in/sell the PS3 copy.
Well done you(!) Congrats on abusing the system (N)
