[Official] CR-48 ChromeOS Laptop Shipment-Tracking

Recommended Posts

sighs so far i have seen people selling cr-48 on ebay , teeny bopper kids on youtube now this & i couldnt even get one

Not couldn't get one, but Can't get one.

It's not over just yet.

You know what they say "It's not over until she gets a retraining order!

I had a dream UPS pulled up out front, and got excited, but then realized it was ad ream and in my dream said dammit!

:D not even joking ha.

but its weird cuz i dont even really care about this netbook nor do i even really want one :p just funny.

I think that counts a a lucid dream.

So yeah, now we're not just dreaming... we're lucid dreaming about them! STOP MESSING WITH OUR UNCONSCIOUS (or would this be Frued's The Unconscious?) GOOGLE!

strange so now after days of being delayed as the tracker stated it now shows

Destination Weight Shipped Delivered Service

MOLALLA, OR 97038 6.00 lbs 12/15 n/a Ground

and when ya hover over the NA it says UPs has not received package or something weird

Apparently I can't edit my posts after this forum upgrade... that's annoying.

Finally got to watching that Will It Blend? episode. That's probably one of the most violent ones I've seen in a while. Too bad he didn't say "Unstable Isotope Dust - Don't ever want to breath this!"

Do you think Google is going to stop the shipments?

Not sure yet, there are rumors about more going out next week. So I will be keeping an eye on it Monday/Tuesday and see what happens.

If this looks like it is dead, we will just unsticky the topic.

I've actually been going full blast with Google products recently. I've changed my site over to Google Apps from the host's services, Google Docs has been indispensable for group projects, Google Voice was a savior for my activities these past few months (I can't imagine the phone bill without it). I'm using Chrome more and more too.

Their apps really grow on you and I can't ignore how useful this notebook would be. It's a shame that it isn't working out anymore.

It seems now that the # of packages in transit are becoming lower and lower. But there has still not been an increase in packages shipped.

Google could easily be sending 15,000 laptops in test groups of 4, since there is a rumored 60,000, this would make sense. It also equals just about where we are at now in far as what we think have been sent out, just a little over 15k.

This could easily be wrong though, no one really knows for sure what is going on. For all we know they could start resuming shipping yesterday/this week or very soon if more will be sent out without there being a waiting period to hear back on the feedback from the first 15,000.

Directly from a source at google:

Google has been mostly shutdown for the past week and a half, so no shipments

have gone out. and probably will not start till next week, and due to the backlog

may take a while to get orders processed..

Thats good to hear. I am worried about multiple entries. I had submitted my entry long time back but haven't received one yet :( And I checked the tracker app and saw that packages were shipped to 68104 and 68105 (ZIP codes). My ZIP is 68106 :( OMGWTF

Re-pinned this topic, due to this - http://twitter.com/sundarpichai/

He says quote "Yes we will have another batch that will ship out this month. Should be an exciting few months ahead."

That is from Sundar Pichai, the VP of Project Management at Google.

Ah, this is all good to hear.

This could be aligning with what we pondered earlier about whether they're going to iron out large bugs first, before sending out new batches. Perhaps some of us weren't deemed "tech-savvy enough" or could fully dedicate our time, so we got pushed to a later and more stable batch to play with.

Here's to hoping!

    • Let's goooooooo! I've been loving the entries so far! I still have to finish Rebirth (things have been busy!)! Excited for this next installment.
    • "Revelation?" I was hoping for this episode to be called "Reunion". Oh, well... In a related note, the Final Fantasy VII compilation has received an EC entry, short for Ever Crisis. For those who don't know, it already had AC, BC, CC, and DC entries, short for Advent Children, Before Crisis, Crisis Core, and Dirge of Cerberus. I hope it doesn't get an FC entry becaude that would be a freakin' crisis.
    • Uh, after intense testing now, 'Samsung Browser' is not the best one outside of 'Microsoft Edge' after all. Opera Air is that. It has "some" bloat, but it's far less than what both Microsoft Edge and Brave browser have.
    • Weekend PC Game Deals: Resident Evil, Mafia, Like a Dragon, and more by Pulasthi Ariyasinghe Weekend PC Game Deals is where the hottest gaming deals from all over the internet are gathered into one place every week for your consumption. So kick back, relax, and hold on to your wallets. The Epic concluded its mystery giveaways this week with another double freebie promotion. As a part of this, you can now grab Rogue Waters and Songs of Conquest to keep. Songs of Conquest is a turn-based 4X strategy game where you'll be managing a kingdom, making tough decisions, and taking down enemy forces in tactical combat. Meanwhile, Rogue Waters is a roguelike where, as a pirate captain, you command a ship and crew through procedurally generated encounters. The double giveaway is coming to an end on June 11. On the same day, Warhammer 40K Speed Freeks will join in as the next freebie. Another Humble Choice offer was revealed earlier this week, bringing a refreshed eight-game selection to jump into. The June selection is Octopath Traveler 2, The Riftbreaker, Life is Strange: Double Exposure, INDIKA, Citizen Sleeper 2: Starward Vector, Construction Simulator, Hell Clock, and Overlooting to keep as Steam keys. The $15 bundle gives you all eight games from this month's Choice selection. The month-long promotion will come to an end on July 6, giving you ample time to decide on whether you want the titles. The Humble Store also brought in standard gaming collections this week. The IGN Live Bundle kicked things off with games like Control, Shadow Gambit: The Cursed Crew, Blair Witch, Rollerdrome, and The Last Campfire for $10. At the same time, the We Will Always be Here bundle carried in titles like Bad End Theater, Thirsty Suitors, Vampire Therapist, and Tavern Talk for $12. Next, the 2K Sports Champions Bundle comes touting games like NBA 2K26, PGA TOUR 2K25, OlliOlli World Rad Edition, and TopSpin 2K25 with a hefty $25 price tag.
