SirEvan
I figured you would have had pics from the new years bash in niagara falls too. I know I'm late to the party here, but the railroad tie photo looks strange. It's an awesome shot, but the bokeh is so smooth, that the grass strands actually blur enough to make it look like a smoothing or Gaussian blur effect taken too far in photoshop...kinda distracting in my eyes. other than that the colors and bokeh are spot on. Leo
Hi all, You guys have some beautiful shots! I have recently purchased a D3000 and have been trying to teach myself the basics and was wondering if anyone could provide any feedback on a couple shots I've taken. I just see everyone's images and I am blown away at the sharpness and all. f/6.3 44mm 200 ISO I understand this one is a bit blurry but it was really windy out at the time. f/10 55mm 200 ISO f/11 55mm 200 ISO Thanks all! :-) Link to comment https://www.neowin.net/forum/topic/965060-neowin-digital-gallery-yearly-edition-2011/page/20/#findComment-593980892 Share on other sites

remus_lupin
I realized that I tend to position my subject on the left side of the image (for the most part) as I realized a flickr friend tends to take photos of their subject on the right, so we decided to try and do the opposite... Here are a couple quick snaps I took today after work DSC_0002 by Paulo Franco, on Flickr DSC_0004 by Paulo Franco, on Flickr ... still waiting for things to bloom, so I had to take a pic of a dandelion haha ^ Link to comment https://www.neowin.net/forum/topic/965060-neowin-digital-gallery-yearly-edition-2011/page/20/#findComment-593984218 Share on other sites
