Please answer this man! :p

Seriously though, it's seems like most people in this thread are already in, but has anybody heard a time when the rest of us poor souls are let in?

LOL, I know most players are on PC but sheesh :p

Anybody else feel as though the grenade physics in BF3 feel about 10 years old?

Seriously feels like im throwing a sock through water..

no you are right. gernades are pretty much useless in this game. effin hate how you can't cook them either.

I wouldn't call them useless, I've gotten lots of grenade kills. But then again, your grenades can get blocked by ****in leaves and that's gotten me killed more times than I care to count. They still have around 4 weeks or so to fix all these bugs though, so I'm not terrible worried about it.

Also, the UMP-45 is a death ray. That gun is amazing. Highest kill streak with it so far is 14. The set up I've been using today is Recon with the UMP-45 and the portable spawn point thing. Works great.

So has anyone heard that the Back to Karkand pack thing is an expansion like Vietnam was for BC2? Mean the maps can't be played on regular map rotations? I'm not sure if that's true or not however. Just wondering if anyone else has read anything about that.

Holy poop, just had a quick game of caspian border i think its gone too much the other way, where BC2 was too small i think they thought 'right they think maps are small we will give them a HUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUGE one' i think Caspian is almost TOO big for the sake of the jets.

They STILL havent fixed sky bloom where if you are looking up at the sky the bloom completely washes out the HUD so if you are using AA looking up at the planes you cant shoot them accurately, theyve had this problem since Battlefield 2 you'd have though they would have fixed it by now.

Can anyone who managed to jump into a chopper or jet on Caspian tell me if they control more like Battlefield 2 or Bad Company 2? The videos don't seem really clear, I hated the way the choppers flew in BC2.

Somewhere inbetween. You are stuck in cockpit view or outside view there isnt a no cockpit view with just HUD yet.

The early access didnt start till 1pm, so im assuming the open beta wont start till 1pm GMT

Sucks missed caspian fiasco while was going on.

Caspian servers are still up, the password for the UK test servers should be

Ah.... in the FAQ...

WHERE DO I GET THE BETA?

On Playstation 3, the Beta will appear automatically on the Playstation Network Store. On Xbox 360, it will automatically appear on Xbox Live Marketplace. On PC, it will automatically appear in the Origin application's Free Games page.

    • You're absolutely right! No reason in hell these should be on the road!
    • They aren't going to want to. Most would just go with the 17 Pro and save money. Why would they want to spend $300 for basically the same thing? It's not worth it if there are hardly any changes from year to year.
    • 24H2 rolled out to the Release Preview Channel in early June 2024, so this coming a bit later in the Experimental Channel (formerly Dev) doesn't really say much more than earlier H2 releases that came out in October. I am not sure what the thinking is here by putting it in Experimental, one would think that the 26H2 stamp means features are locked down and it's now bug tested until October? I don't even pretend to understand Microsoft's strategy for Windows Insider Program though
    • Nothing Ear (a) and CMF Buds Pro 2 with active noise cancellation drop to lowest price ever by Fiza Ali With Prime Day 2026 scheduled to run from Tuesday 23 to Friday 26 June, Amazon has already begun rolling out early access offers ahead of the main event. The smart ANC algorithm adapts to surrounding noise levels, while a Transparency Mode allows users to remain aware of their environment when needed. Connectivity is handled via Bluetooth 5.3, with support for AAC, SBC, and LDAC audio codecs. Additional features include IP54-rated earbuds for dust and splash resistance, paired with an IPX2-rated charging case. Furthermore, users also benefit from pinch controls, in-ear detection, Google Fast Pair, Microsoft Swift Pair, dual-device connectivity, and a low-latency mode designed for gaming and video playback.
