A bit of digging uncovers an updated look to the Game Bar in Redstone 4

Microsoft released Windows 10 build 17046 to the Fast ring a few days ago. Now, by sifting through the code, it looks like the firm could have plans to update the look and feel of the Game Bar.

It was only a few days ago that Windows 10 build 17046 arrived to those in the Fast ring. While there was a lot disclosed in terms of new additions, it appears that there are some new things that can only be found by digging into the code. From looks of it, Microsoft could be revamping the Game Bar.

As you can see from the image, the design of the bar itself is much cleaner now and pops with its slightly translucent white background and darker colored font. If you liked the darker color from the previous Game Bar, there is now support for light and dark modes.

The newly redesigned bar will also have shortcuts, giving users access to various profiles like Xbox Live and Mixer. There is also a clock, quick access to your recording folder, and settings. You'll also be able to reach some of the more vital controls when it comes to broadcasting. Beyond the previously mentioned changes, there have also been updates to animations, and things have been cleaned up visually to make things a bit more pleasing to the eye.
