For the first time ever, the secure email provider, ProtonMail, is offering a couple of two year promotional plans as part of Black Friday, but you’ve got to sign up by Monday to take advantage! The discounts apply for new and existing ProtonMail users and are available for all ProtonMail and ProtonVPN plans.
In its announcement, ProtonMail said:
“Unlike our current plans which are either billed monthly or annually, two year subscriptions are billed once every two years. While it is only possible to subscribe to these special 2-year plans during the promotional period, one you have subscribed, your subscription will be forever discounted for as long as you keep it active.”
For the next few days you should see a Black Friday button the desktop version of the web client, if you press that you’ll be shown the deals currently on offer. You can also see the offers by going to Settings and then Dashboard.
With the deals there’s an option to pay annually or every two years, if you opt to pay every two years you’ll receive a 33% discount as opposed to a 20%. If you pair ProtonMail and ProtonVPN offers, the company says it’ll give you a further 20% discount.
