A new Halo experience is coming to Windows Mixed Reality

A couple weeks from now, players will be able to partake in a Halo experience unlike any other. Microsoft announced that Halo: Recruit will arrive to Windows Mixed Reality on October 17.

In a couple weeks, Microsoft and 343 Industries will release a Halo experience unlike any other. Halo: Recruit won't be a full game but will instead be a virtual reality experience. The news was announced by Microsoft Studios Corporate Vice President Bonnie Ross at an event in San Francisco, California.

It was only a couple of months ago that the firm announced that it would be working with major partners to bring more depth to its Mixed Reality experience. It was at that time that we would also hear mention of a Halo experience coming to Mixed Reality. While this will most likely not be a full-on shooter title, players will have the opportunity to explore the Halo universe and also interact with several iconic characters from the series.

As mentioned before, what will make this title unique from previous titles is that this will be the first time all of this will be done in mixed reality. Halo: Recruit will arrive on October 17.
