AeroSmith and Xbox; Dead Or Alive 3

Tecmo announced today that its highly-anticipated video game Dead or Alive 3 will feature licensed music from the rock band Aerosmith.

Tecmo has licensed the use of three songs, "Amazing," "Nine Lives" and "Home Tonight," for inclusion in Dead or Alive 3 which is exclusive to the Xbox video game system from Microsoft.

"Many of us, both young and old, have grown up listening to songs by Aerosmith, and it's an honor for us to feature their music in our biggest game of the year. Aerosmith is one of the great American rock bands, and their popularity further adds to the mainstream appeal of DOA3. Also, gamers with a surround sound system will be able to fully enjoy the sounds and music of DOA3.", said Isamu Fukada, President of Tecmo.

J Allard, General Manager, Xbox Platform, was also very pleased. "We have very high expectations for this title. Dead or Alive 3 exercises the full power of Xbox, through the intense graphics and use of its Dolby Digital 5.1 audio capabilities, allowing Tecmo to follow Microsoft in the pursuit to provide gamers with the most powerful gaming experience ever. DOA3 is the total package. It has mind-blowing graphics, outstanding gameplay, and now, incredibly noteworthy music as well. This is one of the most talked-about titles for Xbox, and now Aerosmith's involvement adds even more to its uniqueness."

It will be released November 15th, to coincide with the launch of Xbox. The suggested retail price is $49.99, and gamers can pre-order Dead or Alive 3 at Tecmo's website at https://www.tecmoinc.com. If you preorder your copy of Dead or Alive 3 for the Xbox now, and the first 300 people will receive a cool holographic poster featuring Hitomi, a newcomer to the Dead or Alive series! Dead or Alive 3 will be available on November 15, 2001 (or maybe even sooner)!
