Alan Wake, Minecraft Dungeons, Cities: Skylines, and more hitting Xbox Game Pass

The games Microsoft announced for Xbox Game Pass early in May have now reached the platform, and that means a new batch is being prepared. As such, new games for the Xbox Game Pass for Console and PC were announced today.

Following the Halo 2: Anniversary launch earlier this month, now there is another first-party Microsoft title heading into the subscription services, that being Minecraft Dungeons. There is also a returning game this time, with Paradox bringing back its popular city builder Cities: Skylines to Xbox Game Pass just a couple of months after its removal.

Here are the games Microsoft revealed today:

Xbox Game Pass for Console:

  • Golf with Your Friends - May 19
  • Cities: Skylines - May 21
  • Alan Wake - May 21
  • Minecraft Dungeons - May 26

Xbox Game Pass for PC:

  • MechWarrior 5: Mercenaries - Available Now
  • Alan Wake
  • Cities: Skylines
  • Minecraft Dungeons
  • Plebby Quest: The Crusades

The PC arrivals do not usually get release dates, but should land around the same time as their console counterparts. Meanwhile, some games are leaving the subscription programs near the end of the month:

Xbox One - May 29

  • #IDARB
  • Brothers: A Tale of Two Sons
  • Hydro Thunder Hurricane
  • King of Fighters ’98 Ultimate
  • Old man’s Journey

PC - May 29

  • Brothers: A Tale of Two Sons
  • Hydro Thunder Hurricane
  • Old man’s Journey
  • Opus Magnum
  • Stealth Inc 2

The up to 20% discount that Xbox Game Pass members can utilize is available for these games until they leave the subscription too, letting them add the games permanently to their libraries.
