Apple has released a new update for its easy-to-use video creation app, Clips. The update includes many more graphic overlays and posters, and, for the first time, you can add Disney and Pixar characters to your creations. Users will also notice that the app has made it easier to make videos and pictures more expressive.
Regarding the new updates, Apple says:
“Users can now add classic Disney and Pixar characters to their videos. Clips 1.1 features animated overlays of Mickey Mouse, Minnie Mouse, Donald Duck and Daisy Duck. The app also includes characters from Pixar’s Toy Story and Inside Out, so users can choose to star with Woody or Jessie, or show their emotions with Joy, Fear and others. To complement the collection of characters, new Disney-designed posters can be added to videos as playful title cards to help tell a story.”
In terms of overlays and posters, Apple has designed 10 new overlays and 12 new posters which feature dramatic graphics, “beautifully” rendered backgrounds, and customisable animated text.
Apple has included Clips on all new iOS devices, and those interested can head over to the App Store to install or update the app.
