Bing has been a breath of fresh air for Microsoft in the search market. They finally have a product worth mentioning in the same breath as Google and today they are announcing a complete overhaul to their backend tools.
Bing, in their words, listened to the feedback of users so that they could create better tools for the users. “We reached out to the webmaster and SEO communities to see how we could improve the webmaster tools. Your feedback was very consistent: you wanted more transparency to see how Bing crawls and indexes your sites, more control over your content in the Bing Index, and more information to help you optimize your sites for Bing”
As with any web analytic tools, the idea is to take vast quantities of information and transform them into applicable charts and graphs that are not only easy to understand but also allow you to make critical decisions regarding the direction of your website.
