Last month, Ubisoft announced that the latest content update for Mario + Rabbids Kingdom Battle would be coming in June. Today at E3, the company took the opportunity to announce a more specific release date, which is June 26.
In the new Donkey Kong Adventure update, players will join Donkey Kong and Rabbid Cranky, as well as Rabbid Peach from the main story, in a world separate from the Mario-starring adventure of the original game as they try to stop Rabbid Kong's mischievous behavior. The new world is split into four zones that players have to get through.
The main characters in the new update, Donkey Kong and Rabbid Cranky, have new skills and abilities, such as Donkey Kong playing music to draw enemies near before delivering an all-around attack. Likewise, Rabbid Cranky's cane also doubles as a crossbow-like weapon called the Boombow. There are also new weapons and items that even Rabbid Peach can benefit from in the new adventure.
As mentioned above, the DLC content is slated for a release on June 26, but if you bought the season pass for Mario + Rabbids: Kingdom Battle, you can get it one day early.
