Epic Games Store's latest giveaway is for a party game that launches today

Prop Sumo is launching today on PC, but it's also available to claim on the Epic Games Store for no extra cost.

The Epic Games Store's weekly freebie offer has just refreshed, and that means the Clone Drone in the Danger Zone giveaway has now come to an end. To replace it, Prop Sumo has landed as the latest freebie for PC gamers. The title is yours to add permanently to your Epic Games Store library within the next seven days.

The latest drop is a special one, as its release date is also today. This means Epic Games Store users will be jumping into Prop Sumo on the platform while other storefronts have a price tag attached to it.

The game comes from developer Barrel Roll Games, which previously made the hide-and-seek experience Witch It. Despite its name, Prop Sumo is going a different direction, where players are brawling with each other to get the high score in arenas.

The party fighting game lets you choose from over 40 playable props, and each one can wield one of the 22 items, "from magnetising mines to firey explosions," for battling other players. Each arena can hold up to eight players, and there's a server browser for quickly spinning up or joining active games.

"Control the chaos your way - add lives, disable hazards, remove round timers, and more," adds the developer, describing the round customizations. "Whether you want an intense 1v1 or a laid-back free-for-all, you're in control."

The Prop Sumo giveaway on the Epic Games Store is set to run until April 16, giving PC gamers seven days to claim the latest offer. Once this closes out, a new freebie will take its place on the same day. Mobile gamers should also check out the Epic Game Store's weekly giveaways on Android and iOS as well.
