Samson, Morbid Metal, and more get Nvidia GeForce NOW support this week

A handful of new games are receiving official support for the Nvidia GeForce NOW cloud gaming service this week.

Nvidia has just pushed out another update to its GeForce NOW cloud gaming platform. The second update to the service isn't packed with support for a lot of games this time, but there are still several heavy hitters included.

The biggest game release of the week, Samson, is a part of the latest additions. Coming from the founder of Avalanche Studios (Just Cause series), the melee combat-focused third-person game landed yesterday with plenty of driving and beat-em-up action.

Here are the games joining GeForce NOW's supported list this week:

  • Samson (New release on Steam, April 8, GeForce RTX 5080-ready)
  • Morbid Metal (New release on Steam, April 8, GeForce RTX 5080-ready)
  • DayZ (New release on Xbox, available on Game Pass, April 9)
  • Rayman: 30th Anniversary Edition (Steam and Ubisoft)

In addition to these games receiving cloud gaming support, NVIDIA also announced that Starfield is now playable on the RTX 5080 servers available exclusively for Ultimate members. The title just received its biggest update yet with new space-traveling mechanics and a fresh story expansion.

In the upcoming weeks of April, Nvidia also plans to bring support for games like Vampire Crawlers: The Turbo Wildcard, Replaced, Cthulhu: The Cosmic Abyss, Pragmata, and more. Find the currently revealed list of games over here, though the company does bring additional titles to its service as the weeks go by.

Keep in mind that, unlike subscription services like Game Pass or EA Play, a copy of a game must be owned by the GeForce NOW member (or at least have a license via PC Game Pass) to start playing via NVIDIA's cloud servers. There is also a limit to how many hours subscribers can use the service per month.
