Infinity Ward has posted a tongue-in-cheek website detailing the horrible affliction of 'mapathy', and how a dose of the upcoming Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 map pack will cure all symptoms. The game’s first downloadable content is a timed Xbox 360 exclusive releasing on March 30 with promises of other systems in the near future.
This announcement was first posted by Infinity Ward’s Robert Bowling in a recent tweet.

The website offers the following definition of the sickness:
Mapathy (n.) [map-uh-thee] (often expressed as, “How the hell did you know I was there?!”) is a state of indifference to the same old maps one has been playing for the last several months. The Mapathetic individual no longer derives pleasure from blowing up people hiding in the cockpit or on top of the crane. More than 20 million people may be at risk for Mapathy.
The first footage of the map pack, dubbed the “Stimulus Package”, has been posted posted by The Tech Game.
