Forza Horizon 4, Wolfenstein: TNO and more head to Xbox Game Pass in October

Alongside announcing the October Games with Gold as well as keyboard and mouse support for the Xbox One, Microsoft also revealed the games heading to its Xbox Game Pass subscription program today. Although there's quite a number of hits arriving to the program on October 1, Forza Horizon 4's introduction on October 2 dwarfs their impact by quite a bit.

And here are the seven new titles incoming to the Xbox Game Pass in October, adding onto the over 150 games already available in the program:

Forza Horizon 4 (October 2)

Dynamic seasons change everything at the world’s greatest automotive festival. Go it alone or team up with others to explore beautiful and historic Britain in a shared open world. Collect, modify and drive over 450 cars. Race, stunt, create and explore – choose your own path to become a Horizon Superstar.

Wolfenstein: The New Order (October 1)

Europe, 1960. The tide of World War II has been turned using a new kind of mysterious, advanced technology. Using unrelenting force and intimidation, a ruthless world power has brought even the most powerful of nations to their knees. The regime now dominates the globe with an iron fist. You are B.J. Blazkowicz, the American war hero. You are the only man capable of rewriting history.

Metro 2033 Redux (October 1)

In 2013 the world was devastated by an apocalyptic event, annihilating almost all mankind and turning the earth’s surface into a poisonous wasteland. A handful of survivors took refuge in the depths of the Moscow underground, and human civilization entered a new Dark Age. The year is 2033. An entire generation has been born and raised underground, and their besieged Metro Station-Cities struggle for survival; with each other, and the mutant horrors that await outside. Westerado: Double Barreled (October 1)

Shantae: Half-Genie Hero (October 1)

When a mysterious crime wave sweeps Sequin Land, it’s up to Half-Genie Hero Shantae to save the day! Use Shantae’s devastating Hair-Whip Attack to send monsters flying, or Belly Dance to transform her into more powerful forms! Split/Second (October 1)

Split/Second is an intense arcade racing game set within the universe of a mega-budget, prime-time reality TV show. Contestants race to be the 1st across the finish line in a made-for-TV city built for destruction, with the ultimate goal of becoming the season champion. The city is rigged to blow and you’re in control of the action – bridges will fall, buildings will be reduced to clouds of dust and cars blown to pieces - devastating explosions will decimate your rivals and rip apart the track…

The Xbox Game Pass subscription comes in at $9.99 per month. First-time subscribers can also make use of the 14-day trial to try the service out. Moreover, Microsoft is currently offering a bundle where an annual subscription of the program as well as copies of Forza Horizon 3, and Forza Motorsport 7 can be had for $99.

Meanwhile, keep in mind that the Game Pass is also available to those on Windows 10 PCs, but only games with Xbox Play Anywhere capabilities can be accessed. This does mean that Forza Horizon 4 can be played using the Xbox Game Pass on Windows 10 PCs.
