Friday's PC game sales work for the weekend

As we all get ready for the weekend, various PC game download sites are giving us some nice discounts on various PC game titles. Over at the Steam web site, we get some big price cuts on even more Electronic Arts games. From now until 1 pm Eastern time on Saturday you can purchase and download the first Crysis game for just $7.49 or its continuation Crysis Warhead for just $4.99. You can also get the Crysis Maximum Edition which bundles both games together for $9.99.

Over at the DRM-free PC game site GoG.com they have a weekend sales deal on several strategy games from publisher Atari. The list of games include the three Master of Orion games along with Master of Magic and the Total Annihilation games. You can get each game for 30 percent off or get all of them in one bundle for 50 percent off their normal price. Direct2Drive also has a number of upcoming games on sale this weekend for 25 percent off if you put in the promo code "sizzle" at checkout.

Electronic Arts's online store also has a weekend sales deal where you can get either one of the Dead Space titles for the PC for 40 percent off their normal prices.  Ubisoft's web store has the original Assassin's Creed game for $4.99 and Assassin's Creed 2 for $9.99. Meanwhile Impulse has the fantasy RPG A Farewell to Dragons on sale for today online for $4.99. Finally Amazon.com has the casual game Airport Mania: First Flight, normally priced at $6.99, available to download for free for today only. This will be the last game in Amazon.com's daily free casual game promotion.
