Galaxy Watch 3 launch imminent as Samsung publishes support pages

Samsung has not refreshed the original Galaxy Watch since 2018 even though the company launched a smartwatch last year. However, the Korean giant is slated to launch a new Galaxy Watch in the coming months. As Samsung finalizes the Galaxy Watch 3 for launch, the company has published the support pages of the upcoming smartwatch.

First spotted by MySmartPrice, the Galaxy Watch 3 support pages indicate at four watch models namely, SM-R840NZKAKOO, SM-R840NZSAKOO, SM-R850NZDAKOO, and SM-R850NZSAKOO. The support pages don't reveal any new details or features but do hint at an imminent launch. Samsung has already received certification for Galaxy Watch 3 from multiple agencies including Thailand's regulatory body NBTC and Compulsory Certification of China (3C).

The Samsung Galaxy Watch 3 is expected to come in two sizes – 41mm and 45mm. The smartwatch is also expected to offer LTE variants but the design highlight will be the return of physical rotating bezel. Samsung ditched the physical rotating bezel with Galaxy Watch Active2 and replaced it with a virtual rotating bezel. However, the physical rotating bezel will apparently be making a comeback with the Galaxy Watch 3. Apart from that, Galaxy Watch 3 will feature GPS, Wi-Fi and Bluetooth along with a heart-rate monitor. In terms of protection, the watch will have a Corning Gorilla Glass XD protection, 5ATM water-resistance and a stainless-steel case.
