Games with Gold: The Flame in the Flood and Sacred 2 are now free

Games with Gold march

The first March Games with Gold wave has just been activated, offering Xbox Live Gold and Xbox Game Pass Ultimate members two more games they can add to their library for free as part of their membership bonuses. As previously announced, the latest games are The Flame in the Flood for Xbox One and Sacred 2: Fallen Angel for Xbox 360.

The titles also come with backward compatibility support, allowing modern Xbox consoles to also jump in. As such, The Flame in the Flood is available to Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S owners, while Sacred 2 is playable across those console families as well as the old Xbox 360.

The links listed below can be used to directly add the games to a Gold activated Microsoft account:

The Flame in the Flood: Complete Edition is a wilderness survival game in which a girl and her dog travel on foot and by raft down a procedurally-generated river. Scrounge for resources, craft tools, remedy afflictions, evade the vicious wildlife and, most importantly, stay healthy in a dangerous wilderness.

Sacred 2: Fallen Angel (Xbox 360)

SACRED 2 - Fallen Angel is a vast and deeply playable Action RPG. Embark upon Light and Shadow campaigns in a seamless game world that blends solo and multiplayer gameplay, and is packed full of quests, characters, adventure and deadly combat.

Those who haven't yet claimed Aerial_Knight’s Never Yield from the February Games with Gold promotion have two weeks before the game is replaced by the next round's bonus title Street Power Soccer on March 16.

Once again, Xbox 360 games claimed via one of these Gold promotions will continue being playable even after halting the subscription. However, claimed Xbox One games are only playable while the account has an active subscription.
