Graceful Explosion Machine is a unique side scrolling shooting title that takes elements from an old school retro shooter like R-Type and adds a bit of a twist. Much like any side scrolling shooter title, you'll face a barrage of enemies with just a single space ship but will luckily have various weapons at your disposal to help you.
What makes the game unique is that you won't have the ability to just shoot all your weapons whenever you feel and will need to use each one in an effective manner to have them create a meaningful effect. Your ship will be equipped with four weapons: blaster, energy sword, missiles and sniper beam - each having a different purpose. Players will use all of these weapons to create the perfect storm, performing deadly combinations, while fighting off enemies.
The game has more than 30 levels across four distinct levels which make for a great challenge on its own, but also keeps things social by having a detailed ranking board that will allow players to compare their scores. The game is currently available for the Nintendo Switch, but will soon arrive on the PC and PlayStation 4 starting on August 8.
