HTC unveiled its "superphone" Android device today, named the HTC Desire.
The Desire features a 3.7" AMOLED WVGA display, 1GHz snapdragon processor, 5MP camera and the usual GPS and 3G support. HTC has also introduced a new version of HTC Sense on the Desire which includes automatic ring tone volume lowering and SMS/MMS, bookmarks and Wi-Fi passwords backup.
The Desire, built on the Android OS, includes a optical joystick at the bottom of the device - very similar to Google's Nexus One, also manufactured by HTC.
The HTC desire will be available to Europe and Asia in early Q2 2010.
