Information Rights Management Officially "switched on"

Due to our little problem the other week we lost this story as well as others, so I have reposted this with the original screenshots as IRM is now active for everyone.

Microsoft has now "switched on" their Digital Rights Management service for Office 2003.

Named "Windows Trusted Platform Technologies" the plugin enables users of Office 2003 to protect their documents using their Passport combined with the DRM technologies.

This technology looks as though it could work well for Office environments and business's, cutting back on the worry about securing e-mail as well as making sure people can't forward those E-mails.
