Intel says its new Core 200 & Ultra 300 processors destroy AMD and Qualcomm CPUs

Intel has unveiled new Core 200 and Ultra 300 series processors and in terms of performance, it is said to beat AMD as well as Qualcomm CPUs easily.

Intel at Embedded World 2026 today has introduced its new Intel Core processor Series 2 with performance cores (P-cores) only. Compared to AMD’s Ryzen 7 9700X, Intel claims its new Core 9 273PE offers up to 4.4x lower maximum PCIe latency, 2.5x faster deterministic response, 3.8x stronger deterministic performance, and 1.5x higher multi-thread throughput.

Aside from that, Intel has previewed its Edge AI Suite for Health & Life Sciences. The suite provides validated reference pipelines and benchmarking tools tailored for patient monitoring solutions. Demos for the same included multimodal workloads such as AI-driven electrocardiogram (ECG) arrhythmia detection, remote photoplethysmography, and anonymous 3D visual tracking, all running locally on Intel processors.

Alongside the Core 2, Intel has also unveiled new Ultra X9 300 series (Panther Lake) parts. Versus AMD and Qualcomm, Intel says its Core Ultra X9 388H is significantly faster. Intel has also compared it against Nvidia's offering, and touts outstanding performance, no matter the competition.
