Jawbone reportedly being liquidated and will be going out of business

According to a new report, Jawbone has entered into liquidation proceedings and will most likely be wound up. But, a new firm has risen from its ashes helmed by CEO Hosain Rahman.

According to a report, Jawbone has entered liquidation proceedings, which indicates that the company is winding down and preparing to go out of business. While Jawbone has had some problems over the past couple of years, there was a time when it offered a healthy portfolio of products that included Bluetooth earpieces, speakers, and fitness products.

Although the company might be a long way from when its CEO and founder Hosain Rahman was named to Fortune magazine's 40 Under 40, it appears that Rahman is not ready to throw in the towel quite yet, instead, starting something new while his first ship is still sinking. According to the report, Rahman has moved on to a new company that is called Jawbone Health Hub. While not many details are known, the company will primarily focus on health-related hardware and software products.

At the moment, none of the above information has been confirmed. But, The Verge, along with other news outlets have confirmed with sources that the information above is in fact true.
