Leaked benchmarks show Intel's Xe graphics beating Nvidia GeForce MX350

Intel's 11th-generation processors are coming soon. Codenamed Tiger Lake, the company demoed them back at CES. Aside from the 10nm architecture that debuted with Ice Lake and presumably some clock speed improvements to make up for compromises in the last generation, Tiger Lake will include Gen12 graphics, also known as Xe.

Now, some benchmarks have reportedly leaked, and the results are impressive by any standard. As reported by @TUM_APISAK and @_rogame (via VideoCardz), benchmarks of a machine using Xe graphics actually beat out an Nvidia GeForce MX350.

If you're unfamiliar with Nvidia's MX lineup, it's designed for thin and light devices. Basically, it's the "at least it's not integrated graphics" of GPUs. But now, it would seem that Intel's integrated graphics can actually beat an MX350, or at least be even with it.

The Nvidia GeForce MX350 comes in 15W and 25W variants, but according to the report, the Tiger Lake processor comes with a 28W TDP. This would be interesting, since Intel never shipped the 28W variant of its Ice Lake Core i7, except for a customized version for Apple.

Another benchmark was shown comparing the Core i5-1135G7 to the Core i7-1165G7. The i7 beats it 59,845 to 51,741.

While it's always fun to look at leaked benchmarks and speculate about what's on the way, it's always worth noting that it's way too early to draw any solid conclusions. These are pre-production CPUs that are running on pre-production hardware, so things are subject to change.
