Macworld expo replacement gets new name

Lots of Apple news coming thick and fast... And we've not even gotten to next Monday's "big announcement!"... But the "rumor mill is already grinding!"

IDG World Expo on Tuesday renamed the Apple MacWorld trade show (scheduled for this summer) it had dubbed "Create" the Macworld CreativePro Conference & Expo.

The show, which is designed as a scaled-back event from the traditional Macworld Conference & Expo, remains aimed at those in the design, publishing, video and music industries.

The event runs from July 14 through 18 at the Jacob K. Javits Convention Center in New York.

(On a side note... just cannot wait until MacWorld returns to the "hub", Boston, USA in 2004! Woo Hoo! Ed.)
