Messaging + Skype updated for non-Insiders on Windows 10 Mobile

Messaging + Skype has been updated on Windows 10 Mobile for non-Insiders to include the new features that debuted with Windows 10 Mobile Insider Preview build 14267.

A week ago, Microsoft released Windows 10 Mobile Insider Preview build 14267 to the Fast ring. The new build introduced a number of new features, including the ability to send a photo through Skype in the Messaging + Skype app. While they didn't note it in the release notes, the update also included Moji support.

Today, Microsoft has made the features available to non-Insiders. The update is available in the Store right now. At the current time, the new features don't appear to be available for non-Insiders using the PC version of Windows 10.

At the time, it was a bit curious why Microsoft would release new features for the Messaging + Skype app with a new build. As we can see, the app can simply be updated through the Store.
