Microsoft is offering big discounts on its Surface Books in US, UK, France and other markets

The Surface Book was unveiled alongside the Surface Pro 4 fifteen months ago, leading to growing speculation that Microsoft is preparing to launch new versions of its Windows 10 devices in the near future. But at the end of last year, the company released 'upgraded' versions of the Surface Book with its new Performance Base, and will soon launch those models in eight new markets.

The Microsoft Store is now offering significant discounts on the Surface Book in several countries. The discounts - and the specific models on which they're available - varies between markets.

United States
