Later this month, Microsoft will show its next-generation Forza Horizon game, which, this time, will be set in Japan. While we do not have any gameplay or announcement trailers (those are coming next week), it appears that Microsoft accidentally revealed the launch date.
@XBOXF10 posted on X a screenshot from Forza Horizon 5, where an in-game banner offers the user to pre-order Forza Horizon 6 and get access to a bunch of perks and early access on May 15, 2026:

In addition to revealing that early access will kick off on May 15, four days ahead of public launch, the banner reveals a few key details bout the game. First, there will be 550+ cars, which is significantly less than what Forza Horizon 5 has. However, Forza games are known for their regular content drops where each series brings a bunch of new exclusive or previously available cars.
Next, Forza Horizon 6 appears to feature a bigger map than Forza Horizon 5, which is already the biggest open-world racing game on Xbox and PC. As such, expect a bigger playground for your open-world racing adventures.
Finally, those who will preorder Premium Edition will get similar perks to those in the previous instalments. Those include VIP Membership, a Welcome Car Pack, Car Pass, two additional car packs (Time Attack Car Packs and Italian Passion Car Pack), plus two premium expansions. Both expansions and the Italian Passion Car Pack will arrive later.
Forza Horizon 6 is coming to PC, Xbox Series X|S, and PlayStation 5 (at a later date). The game will also be available in Game Pass on day one.
