Microsoft releases update for Outlook Mail & Calendar app on Redstone 2 in the Fast ring

Outlook Mail and Calendar app grabs People App integration and ‘save all' attachments in the latest update pushed out to Insiders in the Fast Ring on Redstone 2.

Microsoft has just rolled out an update for Outlook Mail and Calendar apps for Windows 10. Users on the Redstone 2 Fast ring branch should look out for the update as it is now live.

The update bumps the version to 17.7369.40418.0, bringing several new features and enhancements in tow. The changelog on the Windows Store lists three new features to try out, including:

  • Browse and select contacts from the Windows people picker when addressing email
  • Switch to the People app from Mail and Calendar
  • Download and save all attachments in an email at once

It is unclear when the update will hit users on the production/release branch, but because the update does not bring anything too drastic you should expect it to arrive in the coming weeks.
