Microsoft To-Do on Windows and the web adds flagged email list

Flagging an email is a useful feature added within various email clients, enabling users to easily find a specific message with some unique icons or distinct lists. For users of Microsoft's To-Do application, it's now easier to find flagged emails on Windows PCs and the web with the new update.

Microsoft To-Do has received a new feature that allows users to manage their flagged email list directly within the platform. However, the new capability is currently available only to those who have a work or school account that they use with Office 365. In the future, the software giant plans to introduce To-Do flagged email list for personal Microsoft accounts.

The flagged email option appears on the left side-bar of the To-Do app. To get started with the feature, simply click on the "Show list" option or activate it within the settings menu under "Connections".

The list will display up to 10 flagged emails from the last 14 days, and you can edit them just like any other To-Do tasks. There's also an option to rename the emails, assign reminders and due dates to them, or add them to the "Important" or "My Day" sections.

In addition, you can preview the email text and open them in Outlook. Activating the flagged email list on Windows and the web also syncs the feature with To-Do on iOS and Android devices. The feature is now available by downloading the latest version of To-Do from the Microsoft Store or signing in to the web version.
